Episodes
&Black&White consists of 13 short episodes, each approximately two minutes long. Every episode drops Bo into a different world — from prehistoric landscapes to Viking seas, medieval castles to Himalayan peaks, tropical beaches to a broken elevator — where he faces a new set of visual traps, impossible situations, and spectacular failures. No dialogue. No subtitles. Just Bo, two colors, and chaos.
In the Stone Age 1
The Neanderthals are hungry, as is the giant woolly mammoth — not to mention the sabertooth tigers. Who is the hunter and who is the hunted? In this episode of &Black&White, it doesn't really matter, as long as there is something or someone to eat.
In the Stone Age 2
Neanderthals cross their territory hunting a mammoth. Once a friendly mammoth notices the danger, she joins in the fight, making the Neanderthals flee in turn. As both groups grow in numbers, the sabertooth tigers take the opportunity to catch some easy prey. The mammoths and the Neanderthals must now both run away from the danger.
At the Beach
The frequent beach-goers are all nicely tanned. As a newcomer arrives with his white parasol, he begins to become a distraction. Who will get the last laugh in this sunny episode of &Black&White?
Elevator
An assortment of people begin to enter the elevator. Suddenly there is a power outage, and everyone reacts differently to the event. One begins to have a panic attack while others try to find a way out — in this episode of &Black&White.
In the Medieval Times 1
A brave white knight picks a fight with a sleeping black dragon. With the cover of white daylight on his side, the fight is looking one-sided in favour of the knight. The dragon burns the knight and turns his armour black, and the fight suddenly isn't looking so one-sided.
In the Medieval Times 2
Learning from his previous encounter with the dragon, the knight decides to change his plan of attack. Taking an intelligent approach to the fight seems to be working — until it doesn't.
Africa
An explorer happily roams a newly discovered jungle in his search for exotic animals and insects, when all of a sudden, he notices a butterfly. In this episode of &Black&White, the explorer upsets the locals and gets more than he bargained for.
In the Himalayas
A mountaineer is climbing the Himalayan mountains and awakens a Yeti who is resting near the peak. The Yeti observes the mountaineer and is accidentally hit by his ice pick. With the mountaineer oblivious to the Yeti's presence, the Yeti pushes on toward the peak — hot on his heels. In this episode of &Black&White, we observe just how unlucky someone can be.
In the Wild West
Bright white daylight covers the vast prairie. A cowboy leads his black cows and meets a shepherd along the way. As the white sheep "ba," the cowboy and his cows become confused by the seemingly invisible sheep. Will the cowboy discover where the sounds are coming from in this episode of &Black&White?
In India
Hunters are tracking a tiger when an elephant suddenly approaches with a Mahārāji resting atop it. The elephant sneezes and blows the tiger's cover, which in turn roars at the elephant. Who will emerge victorious in this episode of &Black&White?
On the North Pole
Morning sunlight begins to cover the North Pole. The father awakens and exits the igloo when he notices a seal relaxing. The hunt is on! Will the hunter catch the seal, or are there bigger fish in the sea? Enemies become friends in this episode of &Black&White.
On Upper Town
A historic tradition of shooting a cannonball to signal noon is causing the local townspeople some trouble. As a furious mother returns the cannonball after an accident, she begins to yell at the guards outside. Who is to blame in this episode of &Black&White?
Vikings
An octopus is swimming in one direction and Vikings rowing the other. A collision occurs and, with both parties furious, a battle breaks out. Everyone has nothing to gain and everything to lose in this episode of &Black&White.
